WooCommerce Store Builds on WordPress

WooCommerce turns a WordPress site into an online store you own outright. The WooCommerce Store Build sets up everything a store needs to take its first order: the store design, up to 50 products, payments, shipping zones, tax rules and order emails, all checked with test orders before launch.

Is WooCommerce the right platform for your store?

WooCommerce suits businesses that want control. The store runs on hosting in your name, your customer and order data stay in your own accounts, and you can extend it with WordPress plugins when you need more. It also fits well if you already have a WordPress website.

The cost of that control is upkeep. WordPress, WooCommerce and plugins need regular updates to stay secure. If you would rather not manage that at all, a hosted Shopify store is usually the easier choice.

Already running a store and need something plugins cannot do cleanly, such as special pricing rules, a product configurator or custom checkout logic? The WooCommerce Custom Feature builds one feature to a written specification and tests it on a staging copy first.

What does the WooCommerce Store Build cover?

The build is a complete store with a written scope, so you know before ordering exactly what is set up and what is not.

  • Home, shop, product, cart and checkout pages, plus up to eight content pages
  • Up to 50 products loaded from your spreadsheet, with images and variations
  • Up to two payment methods, such as Stripe or PayPal
  • Shipping zones, tax rules and branded order emails
  • Ecommerce tracking and one email marketing tool connected
  • Test orders for every payment method and shipping zone, and a written store admin guide

Questions buyers ask

What does a WooCommerce store cost to run?

Running costs are paid to other providers, not to us. You need WooCommerce-ready hosting and a domain, billed by your host and registrar, plus the fees your payment provider charges on each sale. Premium plugins, if you choose any, are billed by their makers.

Can you move my products and orders from another store?

Yes. The standard build loads up to 50 products from a spreadsheet. To move products, customers and past orders from Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, BigCommerce or another WooCommerce store, order Store Migration, which covers up to 500 products with redirects in place.

Does WooCommerce work with subscriptions or memberships?

Yes. Product Subscriptions Setup adds subscribe-and-save to up to 10 products in your store build. For gated content with paid member tiers, the Membership Website is the better fit, and the WooCommerce Custom Feature covers one special rule your store needs.
