Generative engine optimization: how to get cited by AI search
What generative engine optimization really is, what the research shows, and a step-by-step plan to get your pages cited by AI search.
Your online store moved to Shopify or WooCommerce, with products, customers, orders and links intact.
Changing store platform is stressful, because products, customers and search history are on the line. We plan the move from WooCommerce, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace or BigCommerce to Shopify or WooCommerce. Up to 500 products, 500 customers and 500 orders are transferred, and the new store gets your branding, payments, shipping and tax. Old URLs are redirected, and test orders run before the switch-over.

Store Migration moves an online store to Shopify or WooCommerce from WooCommerce, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace or BigCommerce. It covers a store audit and plan, and up to 500 products, 500 customers and 500 orders. The new store gets a branded theme, payments, shipping, tax, redirects, test orders and a written admin guide.
A store migration has many moving parts, and small slips are costly. A missed variant breaks a best-seller, a wrong tax rule shows the wrong price, and unredirected product links send shoppers to error pages. This package works from a written plan and counts products, prices and redirects before switching. Your current store keeps trading while the new one is built and tested. The switch-over happens at a time you agree, once test orders pass, and a written admin guide shows your team how to run the new admin.
We move your store to Shopify or WooCommerce, starting with a store audit and migration plan. The new store is set up on a theme with your logo, colors and fonts.
Up to 500 products move with images, variants and prices, plus up to 500 customers and 500 orders. Product counts and prices are checked before switch-over.
A redirect map covers products, categories and pages, so old links point to the right place on the new store. Analytics and search console are set up as part of the move.
Payments, shipping and tax are set up on the new store, with up to two payment methods. Test orders run before switch-over, and the report shows each result.
Your portal lists these the moment you order. Delivery starts the working day after everything is in and your access is checked.
| Option | Delivery time | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | 25–35 working days | $5,175 |
Before you start: Export a month of orders, conversion rate and organic clicks from the old store. Record your product, customer and order counts before the move.
These are things to track, not promised results. Outcomes depend on your data, your team and your market.
The migration is paid once, and the price is shown before you buy. After the move you pay for your Shopify plan or WooCommerce hosting, plus any paid apps or plugins and payment fees on each sale. These are billed by the platform, app makers and payment provider, in your name.
Ask about running costsMoving from Magento or Adobe Commerce, more than 500 products, customers or orders, subscriptions with saved payment details, or a custom theme? Add a note at checkout for a written Change Quote. Very large projects use the Custom AI enquiry form instead.
Request a custom versionAfter the support period, optional monthly maintenance keeps the new store in good shape. It covers monitoring, fixes, theme and app or plugin updates, a monthly health report and change hours for small jobs. Bigger changes go through a Change Quote, and you can stop maintenance any month.
$199/mo (the minimum fee, includes 2 change hours)
Optional. Starts after the post-launch support period. Cancel any month.
How maintenance works| Do it yourself | Hire a traditional agency | Upmark Labs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price | A migration app fee plus your own time to fix what it misses | Quoted after an audit, often by the hour | Ours is one fixed price for a written scope, shown before you buy |
| Data | Moved in bulk, then checked by hand if at all | Moved and checked to the agency's process | Ours moves up to 500 products, customers and orders and checks the counts |
| Links | Old product links often lead to error pages | Redirected if SEO is in the brief | Ours redirects products, categories and pages |
| Switch-over | Often done live, fixing problems as they appear | Planned with the agency's team | Ours switches at an agreed time, after test orders pass |
Yes. Passwords cannot be moved between store platforms, because each one stores them in a protected form that cannot be copied. Customer records do move across, and customers are invited to set a new password on the new store. We can help you word that invite so it reads as a normal welcome.
It depends on what you want to manage. Shopify suits stores that want hosting, security and updates handled for them, for a monthly plan. WooCommerce suits stores that want to own the code and hosting and accept more upkeep. We move stores in either direction, and from Wix, Squarespace or BigCommerce to either one.
Yes. Up to 500 past orders move across, along with up to 500 customer records and 500 products with images, variants and prices. Orders arrive as history for your records and reporting. Subscriptions and saved payment details cannot be moved and are outside this package. Larger stores are quoted through a Change Quote.
We map every old product, category and page URL to its new address and set redirects before the switch-over. That way links from search results, emails and other sites still land on the right page. Analytics and search console are connected on the new store. Rankings can still shift after any move, and no one can guarantee them.
Yes. Your current store stays live while we build and test the new one. Near the end, we agree a switch-over time, ideally a quiet hour, and point the domain only after test orders pass on the new store. That way customers see the new checkout only once it has been proven to work.
It runs on a theme set up with your logo, colors and fonts, so returning customers still recognize you. This is a theme setup, not a theme built from scratch. If you need a section the theme does not offer, add Custom Section or Feature. A fully custom theme is outside this package and is quoted through a Change Quote.
The delivery time is shown in the price panel before you order. It starts once access to both platforms, your payment provider, shipping rates and tax rules arrive, which should be within 72 hours. Every day of delay beyond that moves delivery by 3 working days. The exact switch-over time is agreed with you near the end.
You get 30 days of support for anything that does not work as agreed. After that, optional monthly maintenance covers monitoring, fixes, theme and app or plugin updates, a monthly health report and change hours for small jobs. You can also run the store yourself using the written admin guide, and stop maintenance any month.
