Additional Ecommerce Platform Integration

Your AI product reads orders, products and customers from one more store platform, so a second shop gets the same answers.

Running a second store on a different platform often means your AI product only knows half of your business. This add-on connects it to one more store platform, such as Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce or Adobe Commerce. It reads products, orders and customers with the narrowest access that works, so shoppers at both stores get the same accurate answers.

  • Answers order and product questions for a second store
  • Uses the narrowest store access that does the job
  • Tested on real order and product questions before launch

What it is

The Additional Ecommerce Platform Integration connects an AI product you already run, or are buying now, to one more store platform, such as Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce or Adobe Commerce. The product reads the store data it needs, such as products, orders and customers, from that platform. It is tested on real order questions.

Why businesses buy it

Customers do not care which platform their order sits on. They want to know where it is, whether an item is in stock and how returns work. If your AI product can only see one store, shoppers at the other get vague answers or a wait. Connecting the second platform gives both stores the same service. The written scope is clear: read access to products, orders and customers, agreed with you, and tested on real questions. Writing back to the store needs its own quote.

Problems this solves

Your AI product knows one store but you sell on another platform

The add-on connects your existing product to one more store platform, such as Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce or Adobe Commerce. It reads the products, orders and customers it needs there.

Order questions from your second store go unanswered by the agent

Once connected, the product can look up orders and products on the second platform. Customers of both stores get answers without staff checking each system.

Product details differ between stores and confuse customers

The product reads data straight from each platform, so answers reflect what that store actually shows. The setup is tested on real order questions before launch.

A good fit if

You sell through two stores on different platforms and only one is connected today.
You are moving from one store platform to another.
Your agent answers order or product questions and needs the second store's data to do it.
A store admin can create API access in the platform.

Not the right fit if

You want an AI support agent built for Shopify from the start. Shopify AI Support Agent is that product.
You run WooCommerce and need the same. WooCommerce AI Support Agent is built for it.
You want product feeds improved for Google Merchant Center and marketplaces. Product Feed Optimization does that.
You run several brands from one product. Multi-Brand Setup configures separate voices and knowledge per brand.

How it works

  1. You name the platform. One more store per add-on, for example Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce or Adobe Commerce.
  2. Data needs are agreed. Typically products, orders, customers and fulfilments, read with the narrowest access that works.
  3. Access is created. Your admin sets up a Shopify custom app, WooCommerce REST keys, a BigCommerce API account or an Adobe Commerce token.
  4. Store answers are tested. We ask the parent product real order and product questions against the second store.
  5. You review, one revision round follows, and the handoff note and written handover report complete it.

What you provide within 72 hours

Your portal lists these the moment you order. Delivery starts the working day after everything is in and your access is checked.

  • The order reference of the product being connected
  • Which store platform and store to add
  • API access with the agreed scopes, shared securely in the way we agree at intake
  • A few real order numbers and products we can test against
  • One person who signs off the results
The 72-hour rule. Send everything on your checklist, including access, within 72 hours of ordering so your build starts on time.

What you receive at handover

  • Your existing product connected to one more store platform, reading the data it needs
  • A test report from real order questions tested with the parent product
  • Updated documentation and a handoff note
  • A short written walkthrough
  • 14 days of support

Expected benefits and how to measure them

  • Can extend your AI product to every store you run.
  • Helps staff spend less time looking up orders across platforms.
Order questions answered
Count order questions from the second store answered by the product each week, from its logs, after launch.
Order lookups by staff
Ask staff to tally manual order lookups on the second platform for a week before launch and a week after.
Answer accuracy
Check a monthly sample of order answers against the store admin and count any mismatches.

Before you start: Record how many order questions come from the second store each week and who answers them. Note how long a manual lookup takes.

These are things to track, not promised results. Outcomes depend on your data, your team and your market.

Running costs

Your store platform plan and any apps it needs are paid to the platform. AI model usage stays in your own accounts. We charge once for the integration, with no per-order fee.

Custom requirements

Writing changes back to the store, such as refunds, discounts or stock updates, needs its own scope. Add a note at checkout for a written Change Quote. Larger or bespoke projects go through the Custom AI request form instead.

Keep it running

The store connection is maintained under the parent product's maintenance, which grows in line with this add-on's price. Platform updates and new product types come out of its monthly change hours. That suits stores with frequent launches, sales or changes to shipping and returns.

Adds $75/mo to maintenance

Covered by the main product's maintenance, which grows by this amount.

Questions about this product

Which store platforms can I add?

The usual choices are Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce and Adobe Commerce. Each needs its own access, such as a Shopify custom app with Admin API scopes or WooCommerce REST API keys. If you use another platform, tell us at intake and we confirm before any work starts.

Does the product change orders in the second store?

Not by default. The add-on connects the product to read the store data it needs, such as products, orders, customers and fulfilments. Actions that change the store, like refunds or discounts, are a separate scope quoted through a Change Quote, so nothing alters your store without agreement.

Can one agent answer for two different stores?

Yes. With the second store connected, the agent can look up orders and products in either store. During intake we agree how it tells which store a customer bought from, for example by order number format or email, and the tests check that it picks the right one.

Can the second store connection go live faster?

Yes. The add-on follows the delivery speed chosen for the product it connects, so Express or Rush on that product applies here too. Each speed has a fixed price and date shown before you pay. Because both are tested together, the store connection and the product go live on the same date.

We are migrating platforms. Should we buy this now?

Buy it when the new store has its products and some real orders in place, because the tests run against live data. If the move happens after launch, the switch can be handled through the parent product's maintenance or a Change Quote.

Is any store data stored outside my platform?

Only what the parent product already keeps, such as conversation logs and summaries. The integration reads store data when it needs it, using access your admin can revoke at any time from the platform's own settings. Product and order details are fetched as needed rather than copied wholesale into another database.

Give your second store the same answers as your first.

Add the Additional Ecommerce Platform Integration and your product reads orders, products and customers from one more store platform, tested on real questions.
