Your recurring report gets the written commentary that explains the numbers, in your own voice, without you drafting it.
Writing the commentary for a monthly or weekly report takes hours, and it usually falls on someone senior. This build reads the numbers in your recurring report and drafts the written commentary that explains them, in your own voice. Each draft references the figures it is based on and is ready for review before the report goes out. You approve before anything is sent.

AI Report Narratives reads the numbers in your recurring report and writes the prose commentary that explains them, in your brand voice, then delivers it to the destination you choose. Drafts are ready for review before each report goes out.
Recurring reports are only as useful as the explanation that comes with them, and writing it is slow, repetitive work. When time is short, the commentary gets thin or late. This build drafts it automatically from the numbers, in your tone, so a reviewer edits instead of writing from scratch. Readers get a clear story every cycle. The written scope sets the destination, formats, reference examples and the sample outputs you approve before you order.
The pipeline reads the numbers in your recurring report and drafts the prose that explains them. Your team reviews a ready draft instead of writing from a blank page.
Drafts follow your brand profile and up to twenty reference examples you supply. The voice stays consistent from one report to the next, whoever reviews it.
Each report gets written commentary in up to three output formats. It is delivered to one destination you choose, such as your drive, CMS or an inbox.
Your portal lists these the moment you order. Delivery starts the working day after everything is in and your access is checked.
| Option | Delivery time | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | 20–30 working days | $3,400 |
| Express | 15–25 working days | $4,100 |
| Rush | 10–20 working days | $4,750 |
Before you start: Record how long commentary takes per report and when reports usually go out. Keep two recent reports as reference examples.
These are things to track, not promised results. Outcomes depend on your data, your team and your market.
The build itself is a one-time payment, shown before you buy. Running the pipeline costs roughly $20 to $150 a month in your own accounts in AI model or media-generation usage, depending on how often the report runs and how many formats you generate.
AI usage during the build and testing is billed to your own accounts too, so you keep the provider relationship.
Ask about running costsIf you need a second destination system or more than 3 output formats, add a note at checkout for a written Change Quote. Your order still runs on its original delivery date. Larger or bespoke projects go through the Custom AI request form instead.
Request a custom versionMonthly maintenance covers monitoring, fixes and a monthly allowance of change hours for tone tweaks and new reference examples. Bigger changes, such as new report sections or formats, go through a Change Quote. It starts after the included support period and can be cancelled any month.
$249/mo (the minimum fee, includes 2 change hours)
Optional. Starts after the post-launch support period. Cancel any month.
How maintenance works| Do it yourself with a SaaS tool | Hire a custom agency | Upmark Labs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price | A writing tool charges a monthly subscription per seat, written or not | A copywriting agency bills per report or per word | Ours is one fixed price, shown before you buy |
| Delivery | A writing tool is instant to sign up but slow to learn your report format | An agency usually books in weeks out | Ours has a fixed delivery time shown before you buy, with faster options |
| Approval | A writing tool publishes whatever you type, unchecked | An agency drafts, then waits on your edits | Ours reviews 25 sample outputs with you before anything runs live |
| Delivery | A writing tool exports text for you to paste in yourself | An agency emails a document | Ours has a fixed delivery time shown before you buy, with faster options |
One fixed price, agreed before work starts, covers one destination system, your brand profile plus up to 20 reference examples, up to three output formats and 25 sample outputs for you to approve. Faster delivery options are shown in the price panel before you order, and there are no other build fees.
From the brand guidelines and 10 to 20 reference examples you provide during intake. The pipeline is built around those examples and tested on 25 sample outputs, which the person you name reviews and approves before anything is delivered automatically.
The standard, Express and Rush delivery times are all shown in the price panel before you order, and the clock starts once your intake is complete. Delays only happen when brand guidelines or destination access arrive late, which moves delivery by three working days per day of delay.
The draft flags it for a human check instead of writing a confident explanation on a guess. Narratives are grounded in the numbers and the approved reference examples, so anything that falls outside that pattern is held back rather than published.
Roughly $20 to $150 a month in your own accounts, in AI model or media-generation usage. The figure depends on how often your report runs and how many output formats are generated each time. You pay these providers directly, with no extra markup added by us.
Yes, as an add-on. A second destination system or report is quoted through a written Change Quote. A new topic list for the same pipeline fits inside the monthly change hours of maintenance instead, once the first one is live.
You do. The generation pipeline, the reference examples and every narrative it writes belong to you, delivered into your own destination system. If maintenance lapses, the pipeline keeps running; you lose the monthly monitoring and included change hours. While active, those hours cover tone tweaks and new reference examples, and bigger changes get a Change Quote.
It is the commentary layer. AI Report Automation gathers figures from your systems into one formatted report. AI Report Narratives writes the commentary for a report you already produce. AI Weekly Business Review builds the weekly operating document with owners and open items. AI Financial Reporting produces the finance pack for leadership. The Executive Reporting Pack add-on adds a leadership summary to an existing Upmark Labs product.
Order AI Report Narratives and your recurring report gets its commentary drafted automatically. The scope above is what you get, in writing, before you pay.
