Find out whether your AI-built app is safe to launch, with a ranked fix list and a fixed quote to harden it.
AI building tools can get an app to a working demo fast. What they rarely show is whether logins, access rules, secrets and payments are safe for real users. AI-Built App Audit answers that. A senior engineer reads your code and settings, checks about 60 security items, and scores code quality and production readiness. You get a ranked fix list and a fixed quote to harden it.

AI-Built App Audit is a human review of one web app built with tools such as Lovable, Bolt, Replit or Cursor. A senior engineer checks one repository of up to 50,000 lines, your hosting and database settings, and about 60 security items. You get scores, a ranked fix list and a fixed hardening quote.
Apps built with AI tools often work well in a demo and still hide serious gaps. Common ones are open database rules, keys left in the code, missing checks on who can see what, and payment webhooks anyone can call. These are hard to spot if you did not write the code line by line. This audit puts an experienced engineer on your repository before launch, fundraising or a first enterprise customer. Automated scans help, but a person reads and ranks every finding. You learn what matters, what it takes to fix, and the fixed price if you want us to do it.
A senior engineer reviews your repository and hosting settings across about 60 security checks. You see exactly where logins, access rules, secrets and payments are weak.
The hosting and database configuration review checks access rules, for example in Supabase or Firebase. Each gap is ranked by risk in the fix list, with an effort estimate.
Every automated finding is read and ranked by a person. The ranked fix list puts the serious risks at the top, with the effort each one needs.
Code quality and production-readiness scores give you a clear picture you can share. The fixed hardening quote shows what it would take to close the gaps.
Your portal lists these the moment you order. Delivery starts the working day after everything is in and your access is checked.
| Option | Delivery time | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | 5–15 working days | $1,925 |
Before you start: Note any known issues, past incidents and current user numbers before the audit. Record which security checks, if any, you already run.
These are things to track, not promised results. Outcomes depend on your data, your team and your market.
There are no running costs. The audit is one-time work and uses read-only access, so nothing is installed in your app or accounts. If you go ahead with the hardening work, its price is fixed in the quote before you decide.
Ask about running costsAdd a note at checkout if you need something specific. If it fits within the Scope Card it is simply included. If it goes beyond it, you get a written Change Quote within two working days, and that work starts only once you accept it, with its time added to your delivery date.
Request a custom versionThis is a one-time audit, so there is nothing to keep running. The report, fix list and written walkthrough are yours. You can fix the issues yourself, hand them to your developer, or accept our fixed-price hardening quote. To keep checking new code after that, the AI Code Review Agent reviews each pull request.
| Do it yourself | Hire a traditional agency | Upmark Labs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cost | Free scanners, plus your own time reading the warnings | A security firm quotes after scoping, often for a full penetration test | One fixed price shown before you buy |
| Who reads the code | Automated tools only | Depends on who is assigned | A senior engineer reads and ranks every finding |
| Coverage | Whatever the scanner checks | Agreed in the statement of work | About 60 checks across logins, data access, secrets, payments and deployment |
| Next step | A long list of warnings in no order | A separate proposal for fixes | A ranked fix list with effort per item and a fixed hardening quote |
| Access | You share whatever seems needed | Varies by firm | Read-only access, with no production or customer data read |
No. The audit is advisory, and fixes are not included. You get a ranked fix list with an effort estimate for each item, so your developer can work through it. If you would rather we do it, the report comes with a fixed-price quote for the hardening work. You decide after reading the walkthrough, with no obligation.
Most web apps built with tools such as Lovable, Bolt, Replit or Cursor. What matters is the code and its setup, not the tool that wrote it. We often see apps using Supabase or Firebase for data, Vercel or Netlify for hosting, and Stripe for payments. Mobile app store builds are outside this audit.
No. We never read production or customer data. We use read-only access to your code and viewer access to hosting and database settings. That is enough to check access rules, keys and configuration without touching any records. You can remove our access as soon as the report is delivered.
No. A penetration test attacks a live system to see what breaks. This audit reads your code and settings to find weaknesses before anyone tries. For many early apps, that finds the most urgent issues at a lower cost. If an investor or customer requires a formal penetration test, that sits outside this audit.
Larger codebases are quoted through a Change Quote. Add a 'Custom requirements' note at checkout with the size and number of repositories, and we reply with a written quote. The same applies if you want a second repository or a second app reviewed alongside the first one.
Yes, as separate work. A re-audit after you make your own fixes is not part of this audit, so it is quoted through a Change Quote. During the 14 days of follow-up you can still ask questions about specific fixes, such as whether a change to an access rule closes the gap we found.
You keep the report, scores, fix list and written walkthrough, and you get 14 days of follow-up questions. You can share the report with investors, customers or your developer. You then choose to fix the issues yourself, hire anyone you like, or accept our fixed hardening quote.
Order the AI-Built App Audit for a senior engineer's review of your code and settings, a ranked fix list and a fixed price to harden it.
