AI FAQ Agent
Answers frequently asked questions on your website from an approved FAQ set.
Your agent answers from more of your material, with the new sources added and indexed so it can find them.
Your agent can only answer from what it has been given, so every policy, product sheet or help article left out becomes a question it cannot handle. This add-on adds and indexes more of your approved material for the agent you already run. New sources are checked against existing ones, so conflicting answers are settled before customers see them.

Knowledge Base Expansion adds and indexes more knowledge sources for an agent you already run, or are buying now, such as extra documents, help articles, policies or product sheets. The agent can then answer questions its original sources did not cover. Conflicts with existing sources are flagged first.
Every time your agent says it does not know something you have already written down, a customer waits for a person and a member of staff answers by hand. As your business adds products, policies and services, the gap grows. Expanding the knowledge base closes it without rebuilding the agent. The written scope covers adding and indexing your sources, a conflict check against what is already there, and tests on questions only the new material can answer. Writing new content is not part of it.
This add-on adds and indexes more knowledge sources, such as extra documents, help articles, policies or product sheets. The agent can then answer topics its original sources missed.
The new material you provide is indexed alongside the existing sources. The agent is tested with the parent product, and the test report shows sample questions it can now answer.
Conflicts between the new sources and existing ones are flagged before indexing. You decide which version stands, so the agent does not give two different answers to one question.
Your portal lists these the moment you order. Delivery starts the working day after everything is in and your access is checked.
| Option | Delivery time | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | 10–20 working days | $1,500 |
Before you start: Pull a list of recent questions the agent failed to answer. Note how many relate to the material you plan to add.
These are things to track, not promised results. Outcomes depend on your data, your team and your market.
Indexing new sources and answering from a larger knowledge base can add some AI model and hosting usage, billed to your own accounts. We charge once for the expansion, with no per-document fee.
Ask about running costsWriting new articles, cleaning up a large unstructured archive, or connecting a new live content system are beyond this add-on. Note them at checkout for a written Change Quote. Larger or bespoke projects go through the Custom AI request form instead.
Request a custom versionOnce added, the new sources are covered by the parent product's maintenance, which grows in line with the add-on's price. Replacing a document with a newer version uses its monthly change hours.

How maintenance works| Do it yourself with a SaaS tool | Hire a custom agency | Upmark Labs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price | A knowledge tool bills monthly by pages or seats | An agency quotes content and indexing work | Ours is one fixed price, shown before you buy |
| Conflicts | Both versions answer, and you find out later | Depends on the brief | Ours flags conflicting sources for you to settle first |
| Testing | Left to you | Set per project | Ours tests questions only the new material can answer |
| Content | You upload and hope | The agency may rewrite it | Ours uses only material you approve |
It adds the extra sources agreed at intake, sized as one add-on's worth of work. If you are bringing a very large archive, tell us at checkout so we can say whether it fits one add-on or needs a Change Quote. Either way, you know the price before anything starts.
We flag it before indexing. You decide which version is right, or whether the old source should be removed. The agent is not left to choose between two answers, because that is how out-of-date information reaches customers. Conflicts settled during intake are tested afterwards.
No. The add-on adds and indexes material you already have and approve. Writing new content is outside its scope. If you are not sure what is missing, AI Knowledge Gap Finder identifies the questions your documentation cannot answer yet, and you can fill those gaps yourself.
The expansion follows the delivery speed chosen for the agent it extends, and faster speeds are available, each with a fixed price and date shown before you pay. The biggest factor on your side is getting the final, approved versions of each document to us during intake, so we index the right material the first time.
Yes. The knowledge sits behind the agent, not behind one channel, so once indexed the new material is used on chat, phone, WhatsApp, email or any other channel the agent runs on. The tests use the agent's main channel. If one channel needs a source the others should not use, say so at intake.
Yes. Swapping a source for a newer version is handled through the parent product's maintenance, using its monthly change hours. Adding a large new batch of material later is another expansion or a Change Quote. Send the new version, say which file it replaces, and the old one is removed so the two never conflict.
Add Knowledge Base Expansion and your agent answers from more of your approved material, with conflicts settled and new answers tested.
