Your AI product connects to one documented API or webhook, including your own in-house systems.
Some of the systems that matter most to your business have no ready-made connector: an in-house database, an industry platform or a niche tool. This add-on connects the AI product you already run to one documented API or webhook. Each call and event is agreed in writing first, errors are handled properly, and access runs on keys you create and control.

The Custom API or Webhook Integration connects an AI product you already run, or are buying now, to one documented third-party or in-house API. The product can send data, fetch it, or react to webhook events from that system, as agreed before building. Error handling is included, and it is tested against your real system.
When your AI product cannot reach the system that holds the real data, staff end up copying information between screens, and that is where errors creep in. A proper connection lets the product fetch, send or react to events on its own. Generic automation tools can do some of this, but each step can break quietly when an API changes. The written scope agrees the calls, the events and the error handling before work starts, and tests everything against your real system.
This add-on connects the product to one documented third-party or in-house API. It can send data there, fetch it, or react to webhook events, exactly as agreed before building.
Once the API link is live, the product passes the agreed records across on its own. Your team no longer re-types details, and the updated documentation shows which fields move where.
Error handling is built into the integration, so failed calls are caught rather than ignored. It is tested against your real system, and the test report records how failures behave.
Your portal lists these the moment you order. Delivery starts the working day after everything is in and your access is checked.
| Option | Delivery time | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | 10–20 working days | $2,500 |
Before you start: Write down which data your team currently moves between the two systems and roughly how long it takes each week.
These are things to track, not promised results. Outcomes depend on your data, your team and your market.
Any fees the third-party API charges are billed to your own account with that provider, and in-house systems carry no extra cost from us. AI model usage stays in your accounts. The integration has a one-time price and no per-call fee.
Ask about running costsA second API, several systems chained together, or an API with no documentation is beyond this add-on. Add a note at checkout and you get a written Change Quote. Larger or bespoke projects go through the Custom AI request form instead.
Request a custom versionThe integration is covered by the parent product's maintenance, which grows in line with the add-on's price. If the API changes version or adds fields, fixes come out of its monthly change hours.

How maintenance works| Do it yourself with a SaaS tool | Hire a custom agency | Upmark Labs | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Price | An integration platform bills monthly by tasks or calls | An agency quotes hours for API work | Ours is one fixed price, shown before you buy |
| Scope | You build and maintain each step | Agreed during the project | Ours agrees the calls and events before building |
| Errors | You set up retries and alerts | Depends on the brief | Ours includes error handling for the agreed calls |
| Testing | Left to you | Set per project | Ours is tested with the parent product |
One system with one documented API, such as your booking engine, an industry platform or an internal database service. Within that API, we connect the calls or webhook events agreed during intake. A second system, even from the same vendor, is a separate add-on or a Change Quote.
Yes, if the system has a documented API or webhook that can be reached securely. Your developers provide the documentation and credentials. If the system is only reachable inside your network, say so at intake, because access arrangements need agreeing before the build starts.
Because nothing is pre-built. We read your documentation, agree each call, build error handling and test against your system, often with a sandbox your developers provide. Standard connectors reuse work already done for tools such as HubSpot or Zendesk. The fixed price for each delivery speed is shown before you pay, so the extra effort never becomes an open-ended bill.
We check the documentation against the API first. Small gaps are worked out with your technical contact during the build. If the API behaves very differently from what was described, we tell you straight away and quote any extra work before doing it.
Yes. The integration can send requests to the API, receive webhook events from it, or both, depending on what was agreed. A typical case is a webhook telling the product that an order shipped, so it can answer a customer accurately.
During the first 14 days after delivery, problems against the Scope Card are fixed as part of the price. After that, changes caused by a new API version are handled under the parent product's maintenance, using its monthly change hours.
Add the Custom API or Webhook Integration and your product talks to one documented API, with agreed calls, error handling and tests on your system.
