AI Client Reporting

Client-facing status and performance reports are assembled from your project data on the cadence you set.

Building client reports by hand eats hours you would rather bill. AI Client Reporting pulls from your project and performance data, read-only, and assembles a clear report or dashboard on the weekly or monthly cadence you set. Alerts flag a budget or milestone at risk between reports. Your data stays in your systems, and nothing it connects to is given write access.

  • Client reports assembled on schedule from your own project data
  • Alerts when a budget or milestone moves outside your range
  • Read-only access, so source systems are never changed

What it is

AI Client Reporting pulls from your project and performance data and assembles a client-facing report or dashboard on the recurring cadence you set, weekly or monthly, sent to the channel your clients already check. Alerts flag a metric that moves outside your range before the next report is due.

Why businesses buy it

Client reporting is necessary, visible and rarely billable. Every week someone copies numbers from several systems into a template, and a late or inconsistent report makes a client wonder what else is slipping. AI Client Reporting produces the same accurate report every cycle, checked against your own historical data before launch, and warns you early when something moves. The Scope Card fixes the data sources, the report format and the alerts before you order, so you know what arrives and when.

Problems this solves

Monthly client reports take a full day of copying and pasting

The build pulls from your project and performance data and assembles a client-facing report or dashboard. It runs on the weekly or monthly cadence you set.

Clients ignore reports sent somewhere they never check

Reports go to one channel your clients already use, such as email, Slack or a web dashboard. That makes them more likely to be read.

A metric goes wrong and the client spots it first

Up to five alerts flag a metric that moves outside your range before the next report is due. Your team can respond before the client asks.

Report numbers differ from what the source systems show

Results are checked against three months of your historical data before launch. Up to 25 defined metrics are drawn read-only from up to three sources.

Delivery times are in working days (Monday to Friday) and start once your intake is complete. They can extend because of national or public holidays, technical issues outside our control (such as platform outages, third-party changes, account approvals or access delays), or natural disasters and other events beyond our control. If a delay happens, we tell you in writing with a new date.

  • The code and work are yours once the order is paid in full
  • 30 days of post-launch support, then optional maintenance

License it yearly: we host and run it

  • Upmark Labs hosts, runs, monitors and updates it for you
  • Same scope and limits as the Scope Card, plus 2 change hours a month
  • Your data and settings stay yours, exportable at any time
  • Renews each year from go-live; stop at renewal and we export your data

Custom build: changed to fit you, on a written quote

  • Fixed price, deliverables and timeline agreed in writing before work starts
  • Own the code or license it yearly, whichever suits you
  • The same bring-your-own-key rule for AI, phone and tool costs

Every option is bring-your-own-key: AI model usage, phone numbers, WhatsApp, email and every other third-party tool run on your own accounts and keys, billed to you directly by each provider. Upmark Labs does not pay, resell or mark up those costs. Own it or license it: how each works

A good fit if

Partners or account leads currently pull numbers from several systems by hand to build a client update, and it eats real time every reporting cycle.
You can name up to three read-only data sources and up to 25 metrics or recurring questions clients actually ask about.
You want a recurring report or dashboard delivered on a set cadence, plus up to five alerts for anything that needs attention sooner.
You have at least three months of historical data to check the numbers against before it goes live.

Not the right fit if

The report is for your own team, not the client, tracking internal progress rather than client-facing metrics. See AI Project Status Agent.
You need a one-off proposal or SOW drafted, not a recurring performance report. See AI Proposal System.
You need new-client details captured before any reporting relationship starts. See AI Client Intake.
You need more than 25 metrics or more than three data sources. Add a note at checkout and we quote it, or start from our Custom AI enquiry form.

How it works

  1. We connect, read-only, to up to three data sources you name, such as your project management, time-tracking or financial system.
  2. You define up to 25 metrics or recurring questions clients actually ask about, such as hours billed, milestone progress or budget burn.
  3. On the cadence you set, weekly or monthly, Client Reporting assembles those metrics into a report or dashboard formatted the way your clients expect to see it.
  4. It's delivered through the channel you chose, email, Slack or a web dashboard, so clients see it without your team assembling it by hand each cycle.
  5. Up to five alerts flag anything that needs attention sooner, such as a budget nearing its limit or a milestone at risk, outside the normal reporting cadence.
  6. We check the results against three months of your historical data before launch, so the numbers match what your team already knows to be true.

What you provide within 72 hours

Your portal lists these the moment you order. Delivery starts the working day after everything is in and your access is checked.

  • Your business information (company basics, hours and brand voice), shared during intake, or confirmation we can reuse what you gave us on an earlier order.
  • Read-only access to each data source Client Reporting should pull from.
  • Your own definitions of the key metrics, so the numbers match what your team already reports.
  • At least three months of historical data to check the report against before launch.
  • The report recipients and the delivery channel they should receive it on.
  • Admin access and API keys for every connected system, shared by adding our team as a user or creating a key you control, never by email.
  • One decision-maker who can approve the metric definitions and sign off at launch.
  • An API key for your own AI model account (for example OpenAI or Google Gemini), created for this build with a spending limit.
The 72-hour rule. Send everything on your checklist, including access, within 72 hours of ordering so your build starts on time.

Expected benefits and how to measure them

  • Can give back the hours spent building reports by hand
  • Helps clients receive reports on time, every time
  • Makes it easier to act on a problem before the client raises it
Hours spent on client reporting
Log reporting time for one cycle before launch and one cycle after.
Reports delivered on schedule
Compare delivery dates with the agreed cadence for a quarter before and after launch.
Alerts actioned before the next report
Count alerts each month and note how many led to action before the report went out.

Before you start: Record hours spent per reporting cycle and how often reports went out late last quarter.

These are things to track, not promised results. Outcomes depend on your data, your team and your market.

Running costs

The build price is one-time. Running AI Client Reporting afterwards costs roughly $20–150/month, covering AI model usage plus hosting and the scheduler, billed directly in your own accounts.

AI usage during the build and testing is also billed to your accounts, so you keep ownership of every provider relationship. Nothing runs through us.

Custom requirements

If you need something outside the Scope Card, add a note at checkout. You get a written Change Quote, and that work only starts once you accept it. Your original order runs on its normal timeline either way. Larger or bespoke projects go through the Custom AI request form instead.

Keep it running

Monthly maintenance covers monitoring, fixes, model and platform updates, a monthly health report and monthly hours for changes such as a new metric, an added alert or a changed cadence. It starts after the 30 days of support, bills monthly, and can be cancelled any month.

$310/mo (5% of the build price a month, includes 3 change hours)

Optional. Starts after the post-launch support period. Cancel any month.

Questions about this product

How much does AI Client Reporting cost?

The one-time build price is shown in the price and delivery panel on this page, next to each delivery speed. It covers everything on the Scope Card: the metrics you define, the report or dashboard format, up to five alerts, and a check against three months of your historical data before launch. That price holds once your Scope Card is confirmed.

How is AI Client Reporting different from AI Project Status Agent?

Client Reporting is client-facing: it assembles the report or dashboard your clients actually see, on the cadence you set. AI Project Status Agent is internal-facing, tracking and summarizing project status for your own team so nothing goes to a client without review. The two can run side by side, one for clients and one for your delivery team.

Can AI Client Reporting flag a problem before the next scheduled report?

Yes. Up to five alerts run outside the normal cadence, so something like a budget nearing its limit or a milestone at risk reaches the recipient you named as soon as it happens, rather than waiting for the next weekly or monthly report to go out to the client.

How much does AI Client Reporting cost to run each month?

Roughly $20 to $150 a month in your own accounts, covering AI model usage plus hosting and the scheduler. The figure moves with how many metrics and alerts you run and how often reports go out. You pay providers directly. The one-time build price is separate and shown in the price and delivery panel on this page.

How long does AI Client Reporting take to launch?

The price and delivery panel on this page shows the time for each speed, counted from the day your intake is complete and read-only access is verified. Most of the build goes into checking every metric against three months of your own historical data, so the first report your clients receive matches the numbers your team already trusts.

What access does AI Client Reporting need to our systems?

It needs read-only access to each data source you name, such as your project management, time-tracking or financial system, plus at least three months of historical data to check against. Admin access and API keys are shared by adding our team as a user or creating a key you control, never by email, and nothing connected is given write access.

Can I add a new metric to AI Client Reporting later?

Yes. Adding a metric or an alert within your existing 25-metric limit fits inside the monthly change hours that come with maintenance. A fourth data source or a change to the reporting cadence beyond what's in scope gets a written Change Quote first.

Stop rebuilding the same client report by hand.

Order AI Client Reporting and client-facing reports assemble themselves on your cadence on a fixed delivery date. The scope above is what you get, in writing, before you pay.
